2025 Honda Pioneer 520

2025 Honda® Pioneer 520Sized right and loaded with features. The Honda Pioneer 520 is all about striking the right balance – between compact size and functionality, between power and versatility. It’s tough but nimble, and always ready to deliver. Features may include: Engine & Drivetrain Efficient engineThe Pioneer 520’s liquid-cooled engine is mounted longitudinally. By orienting the crankshaft front to back in the chassis, the flow of power is straight to the wheels without any right angle detours, reducing powertrain friction and putting more grunt to the ground. Ample ground clearanceBy using an overhead-valve layout and a semi-dry-sump lubrication system, engine height is significantly reduced, lowering centre of gravity while also improving ground clearance. Advanced transmissionThe availability of both automatic and manual shifting functions gives you the best of both worlds. Choose AT mode for fully automatic shifting, or override the AT settings on the fly with paddle shifters mounted on the steering wheel. Want to shift manually? Simply choose MT mode and operate the five speed transmission manually with the paddle shifters. It’s the best of all worlds. Chassis & Suspension Durable constructionA strong steel chassis is designed to help the Pioneer 520 remain stable in rough going, and its heavy-duty construction will help it stand up to rough punishment on the job site or recreational trail. Improved handling & comfortThe independent front and rear suspension systems, with improved spring rates, damping performance and updated front A-arms, provide comfort and control over even tough terrain. Plus, the rear swaybar has been removed to make for an even smoother ride. Dynamic control With 147 mm (5.8 in.) of front suspension travel and 150 mm (5.9 in.) at the rear, plus 217 mm (8.5 in.) of ground clearance, the Pioneer 520 can negotiate difficult terrain with ease. Additional Durable tilt box Working with a heavy load just got a whole lot easier. The Pioneer 520’s gas-assisted tilt box can carry a full 450 lb of wood, gravel, tools, and feed with a slot for 3/4 inch plywood and patterned slots shaped into the bed for milk crates and buckets. And with a secure tailgate and a suite of available Pro-ConnectTM modular accessories, you might never run out of ways to put your Pioneer to work. But when it is time to take a break, enjoy the added comfort of the cup holder rings in the tailgate. Easier maintenance Attractive, rugged bodywork gives the Pioneer 520 an aggressive, functional look. The easily removable hood and seat cushions, plus the repositioned battery and air filter, also help to simplify maintenance Safety first High sill doors, integrated headrests, protective door nets, automotive-type 3-point Emergency Locking Retractor (ELR) seat belts and stout Occupant Protection Structure help to keep driver and passenger secure. For added safety, a speed limiter prevents travel faster than 24 km/h if it detects that a seat belt isn’t being worn.
